What a success!!!...  We made 35,600 pesos profit on a beautiful day in 
Our New Venue

 3 Potrillos Event Centre, Progreso MX.

Librarian Barb Harris waltzed in with Buddy Holly and kept us all in line at THE HOP..

The models had fun dancing to the music of the 50's

Our Raffle and Auction items this year were amazing thanks to our generous donors.

The show ended with craziness in the Boutique as buyers chose from many, many beautiful pieces of gently used clothing including the model's outfits which originate from the clothing donations. 



The Apoyo Program students and families are fortunate to have the support of so very many generous folks.  Thanks for a marvelous event.

GETTING 100 STUDENTS READY FOR SCHOOL IS NO SMALL FEAT!!! Beverly and Jo-Anne begin to buy supplies in April and May for 71 backpacks and shoulder bags. Our Money Manager Extraordinaire, Beverly,  organizes envelopes: of information for all the students explaining what is happening on BackPack Day and including the cards they need to order their uniforms and shoes from local stores and the middle school. with money to reimburse our 21 COBAY high school students for their registration fees and their books. with money to reimburse our 11 CETMAR high school students for their registration fees with money to be given to students who attend specialized high schools in Merida.    NOTE: all students provide receipts for their expenses in order to continue receiving money for subsequent semesters.
