GRADUATION

We are excited about sharing the milestones your students experience.  Graduation is one of the biggest.  First from Primaria, then Secundaria and finally, Prepa. 

A QUICK LESSON IN THE SCHOOL SYSTEM HERE:

Primaria = grades 1-6
Secundaria - grades 1, 2, and 3 are equal to our grades 7-9
Prepa - grades 10-12

GRADUATING from PRIMARIA   We almost couldn't recognize our Apoyo graduates.

The evening ended with a thank you to the parents, the teachers and lots of photos.  

The Certificates were given out at the school the next morning.

The head table included Dulce, President of the Parent Association, yours truly, Lemuel, Comisario of Chuburna, Ernesto, Ejido Comisario, one of the teachers and soon to be seated, Sergio, the Principal.

Entertainment was provided by the grades 6 and 7 students. This dance is from Veracruz   

Congratulations to Apoyo students Cindy Noemi Hernandez Jimenez, Daniel Aldair Mutul Pech for Merit Awards received for highest grade point averages.  

 Then it was the Grads turn to dance.... 

 Diplomas were handed out by the Head Table Guests so it was very special for me, on your behalf, to shake the hands of and speak words of "felicidadas"  to our graduating Apoyo Students.

PREPA GRADUATIONS:  CETMAR  

Unfortunately the grads and their families were expected to pay 180 pesos each to attend this year's graduation because it included a meal... Consequently, only 2 grads, Eider and Cindy attended; Cindy without her family.
